The relationship with Garry began through irrigation, but quickly grew into something much bigger. Introduced through Greenlawn, we were presented with a property facing serious challenges, but with major potential.
Years of erosion had caused their pool to drop 12 feet, and their lawn was eroding away from river. After an engineering firm stabilized the river bank, we worked closely with them to ensure every landscape decision supported the long term integrity of the site, with careful consideration given to weight, structure, and sustainability.
The vision was an organic, sustainable landscape built around native grasses and shrubs, one that supported insects and birds and showcased seasonal changes.
We achieved this by adding compacted stone pathways, lined with beds filled with unique plants like sage, eucalyptus, and wild berries. Project highlights include a pergola installed near the river on structural piles, a custom designed and welded Corten steel staircase, and steel archways along the pathways, all enhanced with integrated landscape lighting. To support long term growth and efficiency, we worked with Boreco to install a dedicated well supplying the new irrigation system.
Despite constant evolution throughout the project, the result is a resilient, inviting landscape to be enjoyed year round. Garry is excited about his new landscape. Photos are shared often with our team, gatherings are hosted proudly, and the space has been fully restored to be enjoyed again.
